How to
book an appointment for a video counselling session
It is very
simple. You pay by credit card when you telephone the booking line. The
operator will arrange for you to be in contact with a video counsellor
very shortly afterwards.
You book on the understanding that you agree to the terms listed below.
1. The counsellor
will take a brief history and help you find a way forward to resolve your
problems.
2. All information is strictly confidential and secure and kept by the
counsellor for two years, after which time it will be destroyed.
3. If you need more than one session your counsellor will make arrangements
for further help at the end of the session.
4. You may ask for a receipt for the cost of the session to be sent to
you by the counsellor.
5. Sessions are in 50-minute block sessions and are charged accordingly
at $165 per session, leaving the counsellor 10 minutes at the end to write
up the notes on the session.
6. Please remember to find a quiet and well-lit spot so that your videophone
does not suffer any interference or noise pollution and the counsellor
can hear and see you clearly.
7. You as the customer will be responsible for the cost of the video call
but if you are on an economic phone plan the cost may be greatly reduced.
8. If you are calling the counsellor for a second or more time, you will
need to book your session through the videocounselling network operator
for each appointment.
9. When booking a videocounselling call, please have your credit card
ready to give the details to the operator.
10. Please remember the operator does not give advice - their job is to
simply connect you with an appropriate counsellor.

1. In booking my video counselling session with Video Counselling Australia, I understand that the call is strictly confidential.
2. I understand that I pay $165.00 for the one-hour session in advance by credit card.
3. I understand that at the end of the session, I will be able to make arrangements for more help if necessary.
4. I understand that I am responsible for paying the cost of my own video call.
5. I understand that by booking the video counselling call with Video Counselling Australia, I have agreed to these terms and conditions.
